The 22 mile stretch of NC Hwy. 28, known as the Hellbender 28, sits at Fontana Village's front door and runs into the famous Dragon just 8 miles up the highway. 2007 Dam Bike Rally promises
to be the cycle event to attend this spring. When
you're not riding, do a pontoon boat on Fontana lake or some
whitewater
rafting on the Nantahala River. Kick back at the Hellbender
28 Pitstop for a beer and a bite to eat and eyeball all the
other bikes here for the festival! In
